That's How I Roll...

Elise got her very first bike a few weeks ago, and boy does she love it. It is all about Dora with a shiny red Dora bike and matching Dora helmet and knee pads. She thinks she is pretty hot stuff, even if she does still have training wheels on it. Here are a few pictures of her riding her bike. She will spend a good hour or more riding it up and down the driveway everyday, and Steven is content to either push his toy lawn mower while running next to her or to sit in the wagon watching her and hoping someone will give him a little pull. Here are a few pictures.

Rainbow Cupcakes

For St. Patrick's Day, Elise helped me make rainbow cupcakes. They were kind of a pain to make so I'm not sure that we will make them again, but Elise sure thought they were fun to make and Steven thought they were fun to eat. Elise loved using all of the food coloring and combining colors like red and blue to make purple. She thought it was magic turning the cupcakes all those colors. Steven liked them so much that when we were all in the other room he climbed up on the counter and ate the tops off of about four of them in one sitting, leaving rainbow crumbles all over the kitchen. I guess he liked the frosting the best!

Disneyland

We have had passes to Disneyland for the last year, and they expired last week so we decided to take one last outing there before we couldn't use them anymore. Here are a few pictures.

Steven on the carousel - there are no pictures of Elise here because she was on a little rollercoaster with her Dad at the time. She has become quite the little daredevil, and Chris is loving that he has someone else to go on the "fun rides" with, since Steven and I can't go on them. Elise and Steven just before going on the 3D Toy Story ride at California Adventure. It is definitely on of our favorites.

Just Like Grandpa

Steven has a real thing for hats.... Hats AND shoes actually. The hat he is wearing in this picture is a favorite of his, and everytime he wears it Chris says he looks like Grandpa because Grandpa wears that style of hat a lot. I think he looks pretty cute in it, and I am taking advantage of having a little boy who actually likes to wear hats and shoes.
